Mark Tyson, the heart and hands behind Mark Tyson Building, is a BCITO qualified Level 4 Carpenter with a rich history in the building and construction industry. Hailing from the South Waikato, Mark honed his skills over 25 years working in his family's building and concrete placing business.
Mark's roots run deep in the Thames Coast, a place that holds a special place in his heart. He spent his childhood school holidays between Te Puru at his Nana's and the family bach in Te Mata, soaking in the coastal life. This connection runs through generations, with his children now attending the same school as their grandfather did.
Two years ago, Mark made the decisive move to the coast, bringing along his partner, their two children, three dogs, and two cats. The Tyson family has embraced the coastal lifestyle wholeheartedly and are now an integral part of the community.
Away from the world of building and crafting dreams into reality, Mark is an avid outdoorsman. He cherishes his time fishing and is passionate about deer and pig hunting.
